We are delighted to welcome Clare Walsh back to Kelmscott for another of her popular workshops.
Join artist Clare for a day exploring colour and textures using disperse dyes and the heat press to create unique designs. We will be collecting leaves and grasses from the grounds at Kelmscott Manor and be inspired by the beautiful setting. After a demonstration of the heat press you will experiment with painting dye papers and applying colour to plant materials in preparation for printing. In the afternoon you will print your designs onto fabric using dye sublimation paper and the heat press creating detailed, vibrant images .
The workshop runs from 10am 4pm and costs £95, all materials included.
Please note tea/coffee and cake will be provided but you will need to bring your own lunch as our tearoom will not be open and lunch will not be provided.
